June 25, 2023 Update: I write about this development again here (internal link). I’m calling it a revolution in photography, akin to, or perhaps more revolutionary than going from black and white to color film.

These are all just first tries, I left my better iPad in Goldfield accidentally and it has much better looking shots. Yes, that is Bardot. Vector graphics can’t reproduce faces, they can only stylize them. Usually, badly. I colorized one of the images below.
