Porn, Politics, and Power

Porn, Politics, and Power
/

It’s a mad world controlled by things we know and that we don’t know. This is a very rough transcript:

Thomas Farley: Some thoughts from an aberrant artist. You probably may have seen some of the images I put together using Photoshop at the page called Disturbing Images for Sale. A lot of misogyny going on as well is just my fascination with the faces of beautiful women.

A couple of things because history is often very clean on dirty subjects. The I mentioned gab, a couple of posts to go Stripe square, paypal, visa. All of them have refused to allow Gab to use their credit card system, their financial system. When I paid for my membership for Gab, I had to send in a hard copy check because all of those financial institutions have blacklisted Gab. Now, Gab is not a bunch of pornographers.

They’re not misogynists. It’s. They are about speech. And I don’t buy into all their conspiracy theories. But I do defend their right to say whatever they want.

Again, it’s not about disturbing images with them, it’s about disturbing thought. And that’s what really upsets corporate America is when you talk about political speech, you’re disturbing the levers of power. Now you could compare how that goes on with a porn hub, which offers every kind of DC and the basement of women that you can imagine. And yet every time every form of payment is taken over there, corporate america, they might say we want women to be liberated, but in fact, they don’t mind women being chained up as long as there’s a lot of money coming in.

And what you won’t read about the Internet is that when it went graphical, the big change was about Let’s see, what was it 95 or 96 when it went from text based to graphical with images?

That was Mosaic, which turned into the browser Netscape. We had text based browsers before. So, we finally had images on the web, not just text. We’re not looking up text files anymore. We’re looking at images. Well, what fueled the early development of the Internet as far as the technologies go, as far as bandwidth and cameras and latency and faster service, the two Prime movers for the early internet, where gambling, gambling wanted to get on the Net.

And they did. And porn, too, I guess, for video chatting with your girlfriend at pornhub, whatever. But those two motives, those two strong vices were what fueled the early Internet. As far as the technology improving the technology, I haven’t looked it up, but I would suspect Porn hub is maybe the eighth or ninth most popular website on the Internet to this day.

But again, Gab gets shut down over political over speech, not images. And so the hypocrisy has always been there. But it’s very blatant now.

But getting back to misogyny and some of the images I have at my site, I remember back in the Eighties I was over at a girlfriend’s house. I think it was Angela and she was out of the room at the time. I think it was Saturday night around eight o’clock. And I knew that Glow was on. Glow is Gorgeous Ladies of wrestling.

I really like that program. And a lot of just women slapping each other around, a lot of grunting and squealing and screaming. And it was all fake. It just but it was a lot of fun to watch. And Angela came back into the room and she took one look at that and said, tom, women in pain.

Really? And she flashed this smile and walked out of the room again. And I can’t explain that attraction.

It’s fascinating that men will always help a woman in trouble first. And this has been recorded since day one. If there’s a man in trouble or a woman in trouble, the man will always help a woman first. It’s instinctive. It just is hard wired into us.

And you can’t doubt that. Now, why would a man enjoy, though? And a man wouldn’t. A normal man does not a joy seeing a woman suffer in person. Now, imagery, acting, faking, pretending suffering, that is, however, attractive to a lot of men.

You can look at pornhub for that popularity, but and I don’t know why I’m not a psychologist. Maybe it gets back to that abuse of women is absolutely prohibited but in our imagination we are allowed to do that. Perhaps we have some hard wired signal inside us, some desire to dominate women genetically. I don’t know.

My dad once said something very interesting about how we could forget everything. Everything about a person we met 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago. But we will always remember. Even if we forget everything about the meeting, we will always remember if we met a man or a woman. We will always remember if we met a man or a woman that’s hard wired into us.

And there’s probably a hundred other markers that are going on inside us that we don’t even know about.

What else. Or is that enough for one day?

This money? I think that nowadays stripe square PayPal are looking over sites very carefully. So if there is some sort of if there is some going on with women that they don’t agree with, if that site isn’t making any money, they’ll shut them down. But porn hub and the other big sites will continue. You can be assured of that.

And you can be assured that political speech, which threatens political speech to dissenting voices, that really threatens government, that really threatens power. So no matter what the politicians say about liberating women, they would rather have them wrapped up and change. You could look at jolt, the brand new video talked about that. Amazon Prime is describing the Kate back and sell with a chain around her neck being put on a meat hook. And there’s really no other reason to watch that show from a Guys perspective.

It’s not exactly Oscar winning material is to see her kicking ass or getting her ass kicked. To be really honest, maybe women watch it for something else. But Amazon knows exactly what they’re doing this misogyny and pornography is mainstream, and it’s supported by corporations. So as long as you don’t say anything against them or the powers that be, you’re fine. But you’re able to put up any disturbing image that you want.

I think that’s enough for today. I’ll talk to you soon.

One more note.

Find it amazing that the popularity of movies that feature murder disembowelment Texas Chain Massacre. I remember when it first came out. I never saw it. But you can have a movie that features people, women, men, children getting cut to pieces. And somehow that’s called a cult classic where you can have a huge body count.

5, 10, 15, 20 people dead. And yet critics don’t seem to lambast the violence overall. It’s acting, don’t you know? And yet these murder movies are incredibly popular. If you have a movie where a woman is slapped around, however, that’s misogyny, and perhaps the producers would be better off with the critics in having her murdered outright rather than tied up or slapped around. It is a bizzare world.

So I don’t I’m not justifying anything here. I’m just throwing that out that I find it curious and kind of weird how butchery and murder is so popular today and almost accepted. That’s enough rambling for now.
