I’ve always liked this exercise in psychedelia but only recently did I discover that Jimmy Page and John Bonham might have played on this recording. This is 1968, just before Led Zeppelin. The Mighty Led Zep is a product of the 70s, Donovan, the 1960s. Here, the two eras meet.
The strong rolls and triplets can certainly be attributed to Bonham, I can’t hear Page in these deliberately distorted guitars.
I’d like to live in this film.
